It’s not uncommon to have questions before seeing a new practitioner. At Balmain Chiropractic Centre, here are some of the most frequently asked questions we have received. If you have a different question, please contact us.

How long will my consultation take?

Your consultation will go for 20 – 45 minutes at Balmain Chiropractic Centre, as we provide longer consultation times so that we can give you the right treatment without being rushed.

Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?

No, you do not require a referral. If you need chiropractic treatment, come in and see one of our Balmain Chiropractic Centre clinicians any time.

Though, if you have a work related injury and would like to claim the cost of your consultation through Workcover, through the Enhanced Primary Care Program (EPC) or the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), you will need a referral from your general practitioner.

Can I receive an on the stop claim?

Yes, at Balmain Chiropractic Centre we have Medicare and HICAPS facilities for you to make on the stop claims. Please bring your healthcare card with you to your appointment.
